There is a high threat of rip currents for areas near the Twin Ports, including the beaches of Duluth and Superior, through this evening. A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect. There is a 20 percent chance for isolated thunderstorms from the Brainerd Lakes towards International Falls through early this evening. Storms will not be strong to severe. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday There are 10 to 30 percent chances of non-severe thunderstorms Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings. A few strong storms may be possible on Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
