This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The ongoing major winter storm will be impacting portions of the
Northland today into Monday, creating hazardous travel conditions.
Hazards include heavy snow, strong winds and blizzard or near
blizzard conditions. Travel plans which extend to the south today
will be difficult to dangerous as this may be a historic storm
from heavy accumulating snow.

Strong north to northwest winds gusting to 55 mph are expected to
develop this evening and continue into Monday morning in southern
Lake and Cook Counties.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

The ongoing major winter storm continues into Monday, especially
in north-central Wisconsin. Snow will gradually be tapering off by
Monday evening across the Northland. Colder air and strong winds
will result in wind chill values in the -15 to
-25 degree range Monday morning and possibly again Tuesday
 morning.

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between
  13 and 21 inches except between 8 and 15 inches for northern
  Bayfield County. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Price, Bayfield, and Sawyer Counties. This includes the
  Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band and the Lac Courte Oreilles
  Reservation. Other locations including the Apostle Islands
  National Lakeshore.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
  Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
  Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
