Hazards include heavy snow, strong winds and blizzard or near blizzard conditions. Travel plans which extend to the south today will be difficult to dangerous as this may be a historic storm from heavy accumulating snow. Strong north to northwest winds gusting to 55 mph are expected to develop this evening and continue into Monday morning in southern Lake and Cook Counties. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday The ongoing major winter storm continues into Monday, especially in north-central Wisconsin. Snow will gradually be tapering off by Monday evening across the Northland. Colder air and strong winds will result in wind chill values in the -15 to -25 degree range Monday morning and possibly again Tuesday morning. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Additional snow accumulations between 13 and 21 inches except between 8 and 15 inches for northern Bayfield County. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Price, Bayfield, and Sawyer Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band and the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
