This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Low afternoon relative humidities will lead to elevated fire
weather conditions today, especially across western Minnesota and
western Wisconsin.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Increasing southeast winds will again lead to elevated fire
weather conditions Thursday.

Thunderstorms look likely Friday into Friday night and again late
Saturday night into Sunday. A few strong to severe storms will be
possible Friday night across southern Minnesota.

SKYWARN spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.

...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 expected.

* WHERE...Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pepin, Pierce, and St. Croix
  Counties.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
