This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Winds chills will continue to be bitterly cold today into tonight.
An Extreme Cold Warning will transition to a Cold Weather
Advisory this afternoon across all of central and southern
Minnesota and western Wisconsin through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Temperatures will remain in the single digits to low teens with
wind chills values expected to remain below below zero. Wind
chills values could reach as low as -25 to -35 degrees Sunday
night into Monday.

  as low as 45 below expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory,
  dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southeast, and southwest
  Minnesota and west central Wisconsin.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until noon CST today. For the
  Cold Weather Advisory, from noon today to midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go
outside.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
