Severe storms are not expected, however some of the stronger storms could produce small hail, brief gusty winds to 40 mph, and locally heavy rainfall in excess of 1 inch. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Wednesday Thunderstorms will be possible at times From Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning. The time periods with greatest chances for thunderstorms include Thursday afternoon and evening and then again from late Friday night into Saturday morning when some of the storms could become strong or severe at times. There is also the potential for torrential rainfall with the stronger storms. Thunderstorms are also possible early next week, however it is too early to determine if storms would become severe. A hot and humid airmass will move into the region this weekend into early next week. Heat index values could climb well into the 90s to around 100 degrees. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
