This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast
Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Flooding continues on some area rivers this weekend and into early
next week.

Low temperatures at or below freezing and decreasing winds will
allow for some frost potential tonight into Sunday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Widespread temperatures below 30 degrees and light winds will
create high potential (greater than 80%) for a freeze across the
region.

  Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Clayton, Crawford,
  Allamakee and Grant Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding.

Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor
rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at McGregor.

* WHEN...From late Monday night to Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, The Washington Street Bridge to Saint
  Feriole Island begins to flood and is closed. Pumping operations
  are underway.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.3 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached early Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Wisconsin...

  Wisconsin River at Muscoda affecting Richland, Grant and Iowa
  Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...

  Yellow River at Necedah affecting Juneau County.

  Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam affecting Juneau and Adams
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Wisconsin River at Muscoda.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, There is extensive lowland flooding.
  However no flooding has been reported in Muscoda in previous years.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:00 PM CDT Saturday was 9.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.0
    feet early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    10.0 feet on 04/14/1951.
