A Moderate Swim Risk remains in effect for Sheboygan and Ozaukee Counties until later tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Sunday Hot and humid conditions continue Monday. Heat index values ranging from 100 to 105 degrees are expected, especially during the afternoon hours. Heat headlines remain in effect. A broken line of storms may develop over the southern half of Wisconsin Monday afternoon into Monday evening. A few strong storms with gusty winds will be possible, along with locally heavy rainfall. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
