Winter Storm Warning

URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW SHOWERS WITH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS AFFECTING LAKESHORE
COUNTIES INTO TONIGHT...

.Periods of snow showers will continue to affect the lakeshore
areas from Sheboygan to Kenosha as well as inland areas through
the afternoon, into tonight. An additional 1 to 4 inches of snow
is possible from these snow showers, with the heaviest
accumulations from Milwaukee south to Kenosha.

Inland areas will see occasional light snow showers with light
accumulations.

In addition, blustery north winds will gust as high as 30 mph,
which will produce areas of blowing snow.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow, occasionally heavy. Total snow accumulations of 6
  to 12 inches anticipated. Highest amounts will be toward the
  lakeshore and in parts of Kenosha county.

* WHERE...Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be difficult. Patchy blowing
  snow may also significantly reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central
Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are in effect
through this morning in southeast and east-central parts of
Wisconsin for lingering accumulating snowfall along with some
blowing and drifting of the snow. The Winter Storm Warning will
continue until midnight in the southeast due to the potential for
lake effect snow. Travel impacts are expected, particularly near the
lake and along the Wisconsin-Illinois border where the highest
snowfall has been reported and is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Another round of accumulating snow and potentially some freezing
drizzle or rain is expected Tuesday into early Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Any snowfall reports are appreciated today and again on Tuesday
into Wednesday.
