This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms today will bring periods of heavy rainfall. Some
localized flash flooding is possible. An isolated severe storm cannot
be ruled out with damaging winds the main threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Strong to isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible Thursday.
The main threats will be damaging winds and isolated large hail.
Heavy rain is also likely with these storms which may result in
localized flooding.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...FOGGY TRAVEL THIS MORNING...

Foggy conditions can be expected the region. Visibilities will
vary over short distances, but will drop to a few hundred feet as
well. This dense fog will be make for tricky travel.

Any fog should burn off by 9am.

When driving in fog, slow down an allow extra time to reach your
destination.
