This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Another round of precipitation moves north-to-south through the
state with widespread rain and snow. The heaviest snow will be
across the north and central WY mountain ranges this evening through
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday and Thursday Night...Showers continue through the morning,
with a brief transition over to snow possible (10% chance) in some
low elevation areas early in the morning. Precipitation intensity and
coverage decreases through the day, with most precipitation ending
by Friday morning.

THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Locally
  higher amounts up to 1 to 2 feet are possible along the higher
  peaks of the eastern slopes. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Absaroka Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult along Chief Joseph
  Highway.
