This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central

...A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for far western
Wyoming until 9 PM MST this evening...

...A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for portions of
western Wyoming until 9 PM MST this evening...

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Significant snow will be possible today over the far west as a
storm system approaches and moves through the region. Moderate to
heavy snow will continue through the day with significant
mountain accumulations expected, before gradually ending by
tonight. Lighter snow accumulations are expected east of the
Divide along and ahead of an approaching cold front. The cold
front will move through the region by tonight, with the snow
expected to taper off by tonight across the area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

By Tuesday...Strong northwest winds will be possible over
northern Johnson County. Between Thursday and Saturday, the next
storm system will affect western and into central Wyoming with a
returning chances of snow through the time period.


Weather spotters are encouraged today to report significant
weather conditions according to standard operating procedures.
