This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of panhandle
Nebraska...east central Wyoming...south central Wyoming and
southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

- A High Wind Warning remains in effect for the Arlington and
  Bordeaux areas through the early afternoon today.

- Scattered snow showers will move through the area through
  midday Sunday.

- After a potential short lull, high winds return Sunday night
  into Monday for the wind prone areas.

- Another quick around of mountain snow is expected tonight into
  early Monday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

- A long duration, significant high wind event is increasingly
  likely beginning Monday night and lasting until Wednesday or
  even Thursday.

- There is considerable uncertainty in the forecast between late
  Wednesday and Friday due to an arctic cold front that will
  stall very near or over our area. A small shift in the front
  location will mean wildly different outcomes.

* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning, west winds 30 to 40 mph with
  gusts up to 65 mph expected.
  For the High Wind Watch, west winds 35 to 55 mph with gusts up to
  85 mph possible.

* WHERE...Southeast Wyoming wind-prone areas including Interstate 80
  near Arlington and the Summit and Interstate 25 near Bordeaux.

* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, from 11 PM this evening to 11 AM
  MST Monday. For the High Wind Watch, from Monday afternoon through
  Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be
  hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including
  campers and tractor trailers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For the High Wind Watch - there is the
  potential for lulls in winds below hazardous levels throughout
  this event, but overall conditions will remain gusty through the
  duration, with the strongest winds expected overnight Monday into
  Tuesday.
