...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  expected.

* WHERE...Northeastern Catron County in west central New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 345 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1251 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This  will cause small stream flooding. Between 1
    and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Catron County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
