central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

Weak thunderstorms coupled with cooler air aloft may produce some
cold air funnels before sunset. There is also a concern for flooding
from almost stationary afternoon thunderstorms in areas where the
soil is already saturated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue from the
James River Valley and westward overnight. Severe storms are
unlikely.

A low to moderate (20-40%) chance for rainfall amounts exceeding 1
inch tonight over south central South Dakota into northeast Nebraska.
There is some uncertainty on the track of the storm system, and this
will impact where the highest amounts fall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Periods of scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through
the holiday weekend, with the highest chances during the afternoon
to early evening each day. The risk for severe weather remains low,
but isolated weak funnels will again be possible with developing
showers Saturday afternoon.

southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible into the early evening. The
main hazard will be lightning and a brief isolated funnel cloud
or two could be possible. The threat for severe weather is very
low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A slight chance of isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be
possible across southwestern MN Saturday and Sunday. No severe
weather is expected.
