...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM AKDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...St Lawrence Island.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Low lying property including homes, businesses, and
  some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline
  erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels are expected to rise 4 to 6
  feet above the normal high tide line. At Gambell, water may
  impact the dump site. Water may reach the runway. Water will
  peak early this morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...Bering Strait Coast.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Low lying property including homes, businesses, and
  some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline
  erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels are expected to rise to 4 to 6
  feet above the normal high tide line. For Wales, water may
  overflow from Village Creek into low lying areas behind town.
  For Teller and Brevig Mission, minor flooding in low lying
  areas. Water will remain elevated through Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...Western Arctic Coast.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Low lying property including homes, businesses, and
  some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline
  erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels are expected to rise to 4 to 6
  feet above normal high tide line. Waves pushing onshore will
  result in erosion. For Point Lay, high water will result in the
  Kokolik River backing up and flooding adjacent low lying area.
  Water will peak through this morning and remain elevated
  through Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone

* IMPACTS...Low lying property including homes, businesses, and
  some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline
  erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For Kivalina and Red Dog Dock, water levels
  are expected to rise to around 6 to 7 feet above the normal high
  tide line. Significant erosion is likely. The highest water will
  be through early this morning.

  erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For Kotzebue, water levels are expected to
  rise to 2 to 4 feet above the normal high tide line. Water may
  inundate the area under teacher housing. Water may impact areas
  close to the lagoon and near the boat launch. Water will peak
  through tonight and remain elevated through Wednesday.

  erosion will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For Wainwright, water levels are expected
  to rise to 4 to 5 feet above normal high tide. This is expected
  to cause significant erosion. Water levels will remain elevated
  through Thursday.
