...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM AKDT WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Kroto Creek and Moose Creek near Oilwell Road.
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM AKDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1002 PM AKDT, river gauge report for Moose Creek at
Oilwell Road indicate rises in water levels from heavy rain
across the advisory area. Minor flooding is expected,
especially near Kroto Creek and Moose Creek.
For Moose Creek at Oilwell Road:
At 10am the stage was 16.55 feet.
Minor flood stage is 16.5 feet.
At 16.85 feet water begins to flow over Oilwell Road.
- This product may be extended as additional rainfall is
expected through Thursday.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKDT WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Yentna River.
* WHEN...Until noon AKDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water could enter a few low-lying cabins along the Yentna River,
particularly near Lake Creek.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 346 PM AKDT, the river gauge on the Yentna River indicates
rises in water levels from heavy rain across the advisory
area. Minor flooding is expected to continue or begin
shortly, especially along the Yentna River near Lake Creek.
- Anticipate water levels along the Yentna River to continue
rising before reaching a crest Tuesday afternoon. Water will
then slowly recede below minor flood levels by around
Wednesday night.
- For Yentna River at Lake Creek:
At 2:50pm the stage was 20.9 feet.
Flood Stage is 20.5 feet.
Forecast: A crest around 22.0 feet is expected around 4:00pm
Tuesday.
Impacts:
At 20.5 feet: Anglers Inn & King Point Lodges will have water
in several cabins.
At 22.0 feet: Several lodges and resorts will have water in a
number of cabins with water also encroaching the main lodge
buildings.
For Yentna River near Yentna Station:
At 3:59pm the stage was 18.1 feet.
Forecast: A crest around 21.6 feet is expected around 10:00pm
Tuesday.

* WHERE...Skwentna River.
* WHEN...Until 1000 AM AKDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 341 PM AKDT, the river gauge at Skwentna indicates rises
in water levels from heavy rain across the advisory area.
Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly,
especially near Skwentna River. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- For Skwentna River at Skwentna:
At 11:30am the stage was 40.2 feet.
Flood Stage is 42.0 feet.
Forecast: A crest around 43.3 feet is expected around 4:00am
Tuesday.
Impacts:
At 41.5 feet: Water starts to flow over low spots on the road
which is adjacent to an active slough.
At 43.5 feet: Water starts to encroach some houses located
near the active slough on the east side of town.
