A storm system tracking east across the Arctic Ocean brings
rapidly warming temperatures and snow chances to interior Alaska
by Thursday night. Steady snowfall is increasingly likely across
the south-central interior on Friday before ending Friday night.
Below normal temperatures are likely to return early next week.

A storm system tracking east across the Arctic Ocean brings
warming temperatures on Thursday and increasing snow chances by
Thursday night. On Friday, steady snowfall and increasing west
winds are expected to reduce visibility along portions of the
Dalton Highway north of Atigun Pass and near Kaktovik. Snow
chances and locally gusty winds continue through the weekend
before ending as colder air returns early next week.
