* WHAT...North to west winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected. A few isolated gusts to 70 mph are possible tonight
through early Friday morning. Wind chill readings dropping to zero
to 15 below zero by Friday morning.
* WHERE...Seward (and vicinity) and Whittier.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM AKST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result. The very cold wind chills as low as 15
below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions
are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will strengthen through the day today
and peak Thursday night through Friday morning. Winds will then
very gradually diminish through Saturday. The coldest wind chill
temperatures will be Friday morning through Saturday morning.
