Thursday morning and Thursday afternoon. With the cold temperatures
and gusty winds up to 40 mph untreated roads could quickly become
snow covered, icy and slippery with any snow squalls that do form.

Additional lake effect snow is expected Friday, especially across
Oswego County and the southern Tug Hill Plateau with locally moderate
accumulations possible.

Another round of accumulating lake effect snow is expected this
weekend east of Lake Ontario, beginning Saturday and continuing
through Sunday night. There remains some uncertainty with band
placement and intensity, but locally heavy snowfall is possible.
