...STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 55 kt. Seas
  5 to 8 feet for parts of Gardiners Bay and Eastern Long Island
  Sound.

* WHERE...Long Island Sound east of Port Jefferson and New
  Haven, Peconic and Gardiners Bays, and South Shore Bays from
  Jones Inlet through Shinnecock Bay.

* WHEN...Until noon EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous seas will capsize or
  damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
