...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CURRY AND EAST
CENTRAL ROOSEVELT COUNTIES UNTIL 1030 PM MDT...

At 1008 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southwest of Texico, or 11 miles south of Clovis, and is
stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Curry and East Central Roosevelt
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
