* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Portage County in central Wisconsin...

* WHEN...Until 145 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas,
especially in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1037 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small
stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen,
and additional rounds of rain are expected into the overnight
hours.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Appleton, Oshkosh, Manitowoc, Waupaca, Kewaunee, Wautoma,
Menasha, Kaukauna, Little Chute, New London, Kimberly, Chilton,
Brillion, Redgranite, Denmark, Valders, Fremont, Two Creeks and
Northern Lake Winnebago.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
