This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Wintry precipitation remains possible across parts of the area
this morning, especially along and north of M-32. This should
transition to rain this morning in most areas south of the
Bridge. Rainfall in combination with snowmelt could lead to areas
of localized flooding.
There is a slight chance of thunderstorms across northern Lower
Michigan this afternoon into tonight.
A period of heavy snowfall is also expected tonight, primarily
across the eastern U.P. Strong winds will further deteriorate
hazardous driving conditions. See ongoing Winter Storm Watch for
details.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Additional heavy snow is expected across eastern upper Michigan
Saturday morning. Snow combined with strong winds will create
dangerous driving conditions and may lead to isolated power outages.

Precipitation is expected to change to a period of all snow across
northern Lower Michigan Saturday...along with gusty winds and
temperatures falling below freezing.
There is a slight chance of thunderstorms across northern lower
Michigan Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Thunderstorms are likely this evening between 7 PM and 2 AM.
Some storms may produce wind gusts over 60 mph or hail around 1
inch in diameter. The relatively greater potential for severe
weather hazards will be south of I-96.
Minor flooding over low spots in roads is also possible tonight
in any locations that receive 2 inches of rain.
Wind gusts around 40 mph are possible in portions of the area, late
tonight after the thunderstorms end.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Gusty winds from the north with gusts 35 to 50 mph will be likely
Saturday afternoon in locations near Lake Michigan. These wind
gusts could cause some tree limbs to fall, some loose objects top
be blown around, and a few power outages.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely across central and
east-central Wisconsin this afternoon into this evening. The
strongest storms could produce hail to around 1 inch in diameter.
Rain will change to snow from northwest to southeast tonight.
Snow accumulations of six to fourteen inches are possible across
northern Wisconsin, especially north of a Wausau to Marinette
line. Strong northerly winds may gust over 40 mph late tonight,
which could create blowing and drifting snow, and knock down some
trees branches and power lines. Very difficult travel conditions
are likely tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Light snow over eastern Wisconsin should end by midday Saturday.
Strong northerly winds are expected to continue to gust over 40
mph into Saturday afternoon, which could create blowing and
drifting snow. Very difficult travel conditions are possible.

afternoon. Cloud to ground lightning and large hail to the size
of quarters are possible.
The risk for severe storms will be greatest from mid afternoon to
mid evening, especially for areas along and south of the Interstate
94 corridor. Large hail to the size of golf balls, damaging wind
gusts to 70 mph and a few tornadoes are possible.
