* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, lake effect snow.
  Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches through
  Sunday morning. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible.
  Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches possible. Winds
  could gust as high as 40 mph with significant blowing and drifting
  snow Monday.

* WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 7 AM EST Sunday. For
  the Winter Storm Watch, from Sunday afternoon through Monday
  evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Whiteout conditions are
  possible Monday and may make travel treacherous and potentially
  life-threatening. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday
  morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.

  accumulations 1 to 3 inches. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy
  snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches
  possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Mason, Muskegon, and Oceana Counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 7 AM EST Sunday. For
  the Winter Storm Watch, from Sunday afternoon through Monday
  evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Slippery road conditions are expected tonight
  as temperatures around 20 degrees combine with snow showers. There
  will be a bit of a lull in the snow shower activity on Sunday, but
  snow showers will once again ramp up in the afternoon and evening.
  The combination of heavy lake effect snow and strong winds gusting
  over 30 mph will create whiteout conditions at times, especially
  Monday morning. If traveling in Western Lower Michigan the next
  few days you are urged to monitor the latest forecasts.
