Westerly gusts of 40 to 50 mph will linger into tonight, with
strongest north of I-94. Winds will diminish into the late
overnight hours.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Thursday
Accumulating snowfall is likely Saturday into Saturday night,
especially for central and east-central Wisconsin. Travel impacts
are expected, especially in regions that see heaviest rates.

southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

Strong westerly winds will gust up to 50 mph through this
afternoon, with speeds quickly diminishing this evening. Patchy
blowing snow will be possible across portions of central Minnesota
and western Wisconsin.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
A potent storm system is expected for late Friday night through
Saturday with a broad swath of accumulating snow likely. Travel
impacts are expected.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight
Strong westerly winds with frequent gusts of 30 to 45 mph today
will create patchy blowing snow, with the strongest wind gusts
along the North and South Shores.
Scattered snow showers linger across northern Minnesota and the
Arrowhead today into early this evening, with the heavier snow
showers potentially reducing visibility to one half mile or less
at times.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Additional snowfall is likely late Saturday, with the best
chances for over 2 inches along and south of US-2. There is also
a 20 to 40 percent chance for 6 inches or more of snow along and
south of a line from Brainerd to Hinckley to Hayward to Phillips.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Gusty west winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph are
expected to continue into this evening. An isolated gust over 50
mph is possible. The gusty winds may create minor blowing and
drifting snow and cause difficult travel for high-profile
vehicles, especially on north-south oriented roads. The strong
winds may also cause some damage to trees and power lines,
resulting in sporadic power outages.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Thursday
Hazardous winter travel is expected late Friday night through
Saturday night due to a widespread accumulating snowfall. There is
a 30-50% chance of snowfall accumulations greater than 6 inches
over central to east-central Wisconsin where a Winter Storm Watch
has been issued.
Bitterly cold wind chills from 15 below to 20 below will be
possible on Monday and Tuesday nights over central and north-
central Wisconsin.
