* WHAT...Heat index values of 100 to around 105 expected.

* WHERE...North central and northeast Iowa, southeast Minnesota, and
  central, north central, southwest, and west central Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From noon today to 9 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Little relief from the heat and humidity is
  expected tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioning if possible, and
check on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Stay out of the sun as much as
possible. Wear lightweight, loose fitting clothing.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an

* IMPACTS...Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
