Mississippi...

  Big Black River At West affecting Attala and Holmes Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT TO LATE
SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Black River at West.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night to late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Several thousand acres of agricultural and
  lowland become inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Thursday morning to a crest of 16.5 feet early Friday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

  and Choctaw Counties.

For the Tombigbee River...including Coffeeville Dam - upstream,
Coffeeville Dam, Leroy...Minor flooding is forecast.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tombigbee River near Coffeeville Dam.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, pastureland becomes flooded. Livestock
  should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river
  begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 16.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Wednesday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 30.9
    feet Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 29.0 feet.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tombigbee River near Leroy.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and
  pasturelands begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to
  higher ground. Water approaches low lying roads on west side of
  river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 13.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Thursday afternoon and continue rising to 25.5 feet
    early Saturday morning. Additional rises are possible
    thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
