* WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Low areas near the junction with the Coosa
River begin to overflow. Extensive flooding of low lying areas
begins between US 231 and the river at stages of 15 to 25 feet.
At 25.0 feet, Extensive flooding of lowland areas begins west of
the river and north of Anderson Road between stages of 25 to 30
feet. Any livestock and farm equipment should be moved to higher
ground.
At 25.5 feet, Dozier Road on the Montgomery County side is closed
due to water over the roadway.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.5
feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early
Thursday morning.

* WHERE...Black Warrior River at Selden Lock and Dam.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 90.0 feet, Pasture and wood lands begin to flood.
Livestock should be moved to higher ground at stages above 90 feet.
At 94.0 feet, Between 94 and 97 feet, some secondary roads near
Lock 5 park and Sandpiper Road begin to flood and could cut off
residents. Some roads leading into Roebuck Landing are flooded
between 96 and 97 feet. Flooding of farm and pasture lands
continues.
At 98.0 feet, Between 98 and 100 feet, some cabins and trailers
along the river begin to flood around the Lock 5 area. Yards and
roads are flooded around 99 feet along Meadowlark Lane, Prairie
Creek Road, Bavey Drive and Jackson Branch Road. County Road 38 in
the Hale County begins to flood near the COE facility.

portions of the Macon GreenWay Ocmulgee Heritage Trail floods
north of the Martin Luther King Boulevard bridge. The Macon
GreenWay is closed until further notice. The flood waters will be
up to 3 feet deep on portions of the trail. Large portions of
agricultural lands east of Macon and well downstream will be under
1 to 5 feet of water.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:30 AM EDT Tuesday was 19.6 feet.

into the woodlands and fields along the creek from near Cumming in
south Forsyth County to Alpharetta and Roswell in north Fulton
County. Additional portions of The Big Creek Greenway have minor
flooding with 1 to 2 feet of water. Most of the walking and biking
paths will be closed, especially upstream and downstream from the
gage on Kimball Bridge Road and near Rock Mill Park. Portions of
the YMCA Campground off Preston Ridge Road will flood.

- At 8:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 7.5 feet.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring around the Columbus area,
including Magby Creek. Numerous roads remain closed due to
flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from rain
Sunday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 300 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding was
occurring and water had entered several homes. Additional
evacuations and road closures were possible.
