This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Heat Index values in the mid 90s to near 100F will persist across
the central and southern TN valley through late afternoon and
early evening.

A an isolated strong storm or two is also expected this afternoon.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and isolated flooding are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Heat Index values in the upper 90s to low 100s are expected
through much of the week throughout the East Tennessee Valley.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible through the evening. The
primary hazards are frequent lightning, gusty winds, and locally
heavy rainfall, which could lead to ponding on roadways and
localized flooding.

Heat index values will range from 105 to 108 degrees this
afternoon and early evening across portions of central and eastern
Georgia. A Heat Advisory is in effect as a result.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...

Scattered to widespread thunderstorms are expected Tuesday
through Sunday. The threat for widespread severe weather remains
low, but very heavy rainfall and localized flooding will be
possible.

Heat index values will range from 100 to 105 degrees, possibly
higher, across portions of north and central Georgia each day.
