THROUGH 400 PM CDT...

At 333 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tremont, or 12 miles northwest of Hamilton, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shottsville and Bexar.

At 320 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Gardner Island to near Autaugaville to
near Lowndesboro. Movement was north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Prattville, Millbrook, Elmore, Coosada, Deatsville, Autaugaville,
White Hall, Billingsley, Lowndesboro, Booth, Vida Junction, Gardner
Island, Autauga County Airport, Ten Cedar Estates, Plecher, Mulberry,
Marbury, Weoka Mills, Jordan Lake, and Burnsville.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

Fayetteville, Strickland Crossroads, Marble Valley, Lay Lake, Lay
Lake Dam, Shelby, Beeswax Creek Park, Alabama 4H Center, Cedar Creek,
Shelby Shores, Waxahatchee Creek, Highway 145 and CR 46, Paint Creek,
Kelley Branch, and Spring Creek.

southwestern Pulaski, western Wilcox, Dooly, eastern Sumter and Crisp
Counties through 515 PM EDT...

At 441 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from Lamar to near Georgia Veterans Memorial St Pk to
Hatley, and moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, frequent cloud to ground lightning and
         heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
         street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Cordele, Vienna, Byromville, Pineview, Pinehurst, Pitts, Lilly, De
Soto, Dooling, Desoto, Cobb, Lamar, Richwood, Pennington, Seville,
Drayton, Pleasant View, Methvins, Tippettville, and Double Run.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Motorists
should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
