.The next round of thunderstorms will spread out across
southern Oregon and northern California this afternoon and
evening. Storms will continue into the overnight hours and become
more isolated in northern Lake and Klamath Counties with perhaps
one or two west of the Cascades. Another round of thunderstorms
will develop Thursday afternoon and evening.

THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS FOR
FIRE WEATHER ZONES 623, 624, AND 625...
* IMPACTS...Abundant lightning on dry fuels resulting in the
potential for numerous new fire starts.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 623, 624 and 625. The
northern sections of 624 and 625 should see some nocturnal
thunderstorms Wednesday night.
* TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, 2 pm this afternoon to 11 pm
this evening. For the Fire Weather watch, 2 pm Thursday to
Thursday 11 pm.
* THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered to widespread thunderstorms expected
this afternoon and evening. Another day of scattered coverage
is possible on Thursday. Storms are likely to be wet, but
lightning strikes outside of precipitation cores are possible,
and cause for concern for new fire starts.
* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusts of 35 to 50 mph could travel outward up
to 25 miles from thunderstorm cores.
