* TIMING...This afternoon through this evening.

* WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph today.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent today.

* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the upper 90s.

* LIGHTNING...Dry lightning is possible this afternoon and
  evening.

* IMPACTS...Any fire start may be capable of spreading rapidly
  and becoming difficult to control.
