This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western South
Dakota and northeastern Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The grassland fire danger will be in the very high to extreme
category across the South Dakota plains due to breezy winds and
low relative humidity. Scattered rain showers and some higher
elevation snow showers are expected this afternoon into this
evening. Minor accumulations of snow are possible, mainly across
the higher Black Hills. A few thundershowers are also possible
later today with severe storms not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Gusty winds persist Sunday across the South Dakota plains on the
back side of the system, with some gusts of 40 to over 50 mph
possible across the western and south central South Dakota
plains. The grassland fire danger is forecast to be very high to
extreme across much of the plains Sunday and very high in most
areas on Monday.

Sunday night...Strong wind possible in the lee of the Absarokas.
