MORNING ABOVE 3500 FEET...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected above 3500 feet. Total snow
  and sleet accumulations up to one half of an inch and ice
  accumulations between one and two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Icing may create slippery conditions on roads, bridges
  and sidewalks. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  morning commute.
