This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine, North Woods Maine and Penobscot
Valley Maine.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Locally heavy snow showers during this afternoon and possibly very
early this evening could briefly lower visibilities to 1 mile or
less and bring a quick accumulation of snow. While most areas will
see only a few tenths of an inch of snow, there could be some
isolated areas that could see an inch or so of accumulation. The
combination of the rapid reduction in visibility and quick
accumulation of snow could make travel locally difficult where and
when this occurs.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

One to four inches of snow is expected Sunday afternoon into Sunday
evening, with the heaviest accumulation north of a Dover-Foxcroft to
Lincoln to Danforth line. Those with travel interests should continue
to monitor.

There is a possibility of a winter storm Tuesday and Tuesday night.
There is significant uncertainty at this time. Please continue to
monitor forecasts for this period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
