...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Coastal DownEast, Far
  Eastern, Far Northern, Interior DownEast, North Woods, and
  Penobscot Valley Maine

* WHEN...Until 6 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and result in scattered power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts will be across the
  higher terrain of the Moosehead Region to Aroostook County
  including Baxter State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
