This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

Isolated to scattered strong to marginally severe storms are
possible this afternoon and evening across much of South Central
Texas exluding the Austin area and Coastal Plains. The main
severe weather concerns will be hail up to the size of quarters and
damaging straight-line wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Spotter activation is not anticipated.

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop this
late afternoon and this evening, primarily across the Brush
Country and Rio Grande Plains. Some storms may become strong to
even severe at times, with large hail and damaging winds being the
main threat.

Farther east across the Coastal Bend and Victoria Crossroads,
isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected. An isolated
strong storm or two may be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible over South Texas Monday and
Tuesday. No severe weather is expected at this time.

Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are anticipated this evening
and early tonight over Zapata, Jim Hogg, Brooks, Starr, and
Hidalgo Counties. Some of the thunderstorms may be strong to
severe, producing large hail and strong, damaging winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

An elevated risk of rip currents is possible at the beaches of
South Padre Island and at Boca Chica Beach Monday and Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Any observations of large hail and damage from strong winds this
evening and early tonight should be reported to local law
enforcement and the National Weather Service office in Brownsville.

Light showers are affecting the northern part of Val Verde County.
Some other showers across the northeastern part of Mexico will be
entering and affecting parts of Maverick County within the hour.
This activity is expected to increase later this morning as a cold
front pushes across the area.
