  localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
  swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

dangerous surf conditions.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon And Tonight.

Very dry air and gusty north winds will support near-critical
fire weather conditions in the southern Edwards Plateau and Rio
Grande Plains this afternoon. A Fire Danger Statement is in effect
between Noon and 7 PM.

Gusty north winds will continue across the area tonight. Be sure
to secure any loose outdoor lawn furniture or holiday decorations
before going to bed this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Widespread freezing low temperatures are forecast on Monday
morning outside of the Rio Grande Plains. Freeze Warnings will
likely be needed across portions of South-Central Texas.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
