Lightning and isolated gusty winds will be the main hazards from
these storms.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon
across the higher terrain.  Lightning, wind gusts to 40 mph and
spotty heavy rain will be the primary storm risks.

A couple of storms may be possible this afternoon across the far
Eastern Plains.  These storms will be capable of producing wind
gusts to 50 mph and half inch hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Daily isolated to scattered afternoon rain showers and thunderstorms
are expected for Tuesday through Sunday. The greatest coverage will
be along and immediately around the mountains. Expected hazards with
any more organized storms will be gusty winds, small hail, heavy
rain, and lightning.

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be possible over portions of the region.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms and heavy rainfall have impacted portions
of Valley county this morning, and a flood advisory is in effect
until 1030 AM CDT.

These thunderstorms are expected to expand in coverage and push
south across the local area today. Severe weather is not
anticipated, although pockets of 1 to 2 inches of rainfall could
result in some minor flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

After a period of dry weather from Tuesday through Saturday, the
chance for thunderstorms returns next Sunday for areas mainly
north of Interstate 80.

Heat index values will once again approach 100 degrees across
north central Kansas Sunday.
