This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over much of the
forecast this afternoon and into this evening. Briefly heavy
rainfall will be the main risk with storms today, with 45 mph wind
gusts and frequent lightning also possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Isolated to scattered showers, along with a few embedded thunderstorms,
will be possible across across the higher terrain and adjacent plains
on Tuesday. The main threats from any thunderstorm that develops will
be cloud to ground lightning and gusty outflow winds up to 45 mph.
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain possible
across the region on Friday, with chances of showers and storms
continuing through the upcoming weekend.
