This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Sunday morning will see wind chills approach 0 degrees and single
digits widespread across SW Kansas.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
Continued cold temperatures will last through Monday. Also snow is
expected across the northeastern counties of the CWA. Localized
banding in excess of 2 inches are possible especially near Ellis
county.

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...
Light accumulating snow will develop over portions of the area late
this evening and overnight, mainly along and north of Interstate 70.
Air temperatures will be in the lower to mid teens. Winds will be
from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 mph tonight and Monday morning.
Blowing and drifting snow are not expected while precipitation is
falling. Hazardous travel conditions are possible with any amount of
snow cover on area roads.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
Light snow will end from west to east late Monday morning, between
sunrise and noon. Locations with fresh snow cover may experience some
blowing and drifting snow Monday afternoon, as winds shift to the
northwest and increase to 15 to 25 mph.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for all of north central Kansas,
and a part of south central Nebraska from Furnas to Thayer
counties.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
A Winter Weather Advisory begins at midnight tonight, after which
light snow will fall and my add up to an inch or two of
accumulation by dawn Monday morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until Noon Monday
for another inch or two of snowfall. Total snowfall will be in
the 2 to 3 inch range but could get has high four inches in north
central Kansas, mainly south of Highway 24. Winds will be light
throughout the snow event, which will end by Noon Monday.
Wind chills will be near and below zero early Tuesday and again
Thursday morning.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Snow will spread across the mountains this afternoon and into the
adjacent valleys and plains tonight. Travel conditions will quickly
deteriorate around or shortly before sundown across the mountains
with 5 to 10 inches of snow possible by dawn across the eastern San
Juan mountains, the Sawatch and western Mosquito ranges, and the
higher elevations of the Sangre De Cristo mountains. The remainder
of the mountains could see up to 4 inches of accumulation with 1 to
2 inches across the interior valleys. The adjacent plains will see
generally an inch or less along portions of the I-25 corridor by
dawn. Temperatures in the teens combined with blustery north winds
will lead to wind chills in the single digits towards dawn across
the plains.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
Snow will come to an end late Monday morning to early afternoon
across the higher terrain and southern Interstate 25 corridor.
Additional accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible.
The next storm system will move across the area Wednesday, with
another round of accumulating snow for the Mountains, down into
the Interstate 25 corridor.
Persistent northwest flow will lead to continuous light snowfall
for the Central Mountains Thursday through Saturday.

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be likely over portions of the region.

Wind chills will be in the single digits across central Kansas
this morning.
Light snow is expected to develop over parts of central Kansas late
tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
The next weather system looks to bring the first impactful snowfall
of the season to the region on Monday. A Winter Weather Advisory is
in effect for Monday for areas along and north of Highway 50 as
accumulating snowfall is likely. Stay tuned for additional updates.
Another weather system could bring more snow to the area for
Thursday night.
