.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight
Light snow and blowing snow persists this afternoon. While
accumulations will be light, wind gusts of 30-35 MPH at times will
cause visibility reductions to around a mile while snow is
falling, along with slick and snow covered roads.

Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
Light accumulating snow along with northwest winds gusting up to
35 mph will be seen into the early evening. The strong winds are
expected to create blowing and drifting snow this afternoon which
may result in roads becoming partially covered with snow.
Winds gusting up to 25 mph tonight will help drop wind chills
below zero.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
Another storm system will bring more accumulating snow to the area
on Sunday. Accumulations will range from a dusting to potentially
an inch. Winds gusting up to 35 mph will create more blowing and drifting
snow.
Dangerous cold with wind chills of 15 to 30 below zero will be
seen across the area late Sunday night into Monday morning. A Cold
Weather Advisory has been issued for locations along and north of
Highway 92.
There is a potential for more accumulating snow Tuesday night.

Nebraska.

Negative single digit wind chills continue through tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Sunday morning wind chill temperatures in the negative single
digits. Strong northwesterly wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph develop
during the morning and continue through evening. Bands of snow
showers are expected. Falling snow and strong winds may cause rapid
visibility reductions and hazardous driving conditions.
Another surge of cold air arrives Sunday night into Monday bringing
Monday morning wind chill temperatures of 5 to 20 degrees below
zero.

Patchy light snow and blowing snow will occasionally reduce the
visibility to around a mile this morning, with the better chance
in parts of southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. Otherwise,
wind chills will average 10 below to 20 below today.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Northwest winds will gust to 40 to 50 mph again on Sunday and if
snow can develop, reduced visibility and hazardous travel are
possible. Sunday night into Monday morning, wind chills will
average 15 below to 25 below.

Lingering blowing snow impacts this morning, diminishing gradually
today. Flurries possible into the afternoon.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Snow along I-94 and blowing snow possible Sunday.
Much colder air this weekend and next week. Wind chills as cold
as -25 this weekend. Wind chills are forecast to dip into the -25
to -35 degree range early next week.
