Gale Warnings are in effect for all marine zones through tonight,
with high-end gales possible. Low water advisories are also in effect
for inner Saginaw Bay and western Lake Erie. Please refer to the
latest Marine Weather Message (MWW) for more information.

Numerous lake effect snow showers expected this evening and
overnight, with embedded snow squalls possible.

Numerous lake effect snow showers expected this evening and
overnight, with embedded snow squalls possible. Snow accumulations
of a dusting to 3 inches possible by Thursday afternoon, with
locally higher amounts possible in the Thumb.

There is increasing potential for several inches of accumulating
snowfall Saturday afternoon into Sunday as a low pressure system
tracks across Lower Michigan.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This Evening and Tonight

Strong winds are expected through tonight gusting to between 45 and
60 mph across the area. The highest gusts will occur towards Lake
Michigan. Power outages are very possible with this magnitude of
wind.

Snow showers will continue both this evening and through the night.
The heaviest snow will occur this evening. The combination of
falling snow and strong winds will cause near whiteout conditions at
times. Those traveling tonight and into Thanksgiving Day should be
prepared to encounter winter travel conditions across Western Lower
Michigan. Travel will be slowed and slippery conditions will
develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Periods of lake effect snow are expected through Thursday and into
early Friday. Another, more widespread accumulating snow event is
expected this weekend from Saturday into Sunday. Many areas have the
potential to see 4 inches of snow or higher amounts.
