This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow showers expected throughout the day. This morning will see a
focus of light to moderate snow showers up to the I-94 corridor/Irish
Hills as a low passes to the south. Mostly minor accumulations on
grassy and elevated surfaces through the morning. Lake effect showers
ramp up this afternoon into the evening off Lake Huron. Snow totals
of 1 to 3 inch range can be expected by Monday morning. There will be
high variability in totals with inland extent given the transient
nature of the lake effect snow as it pushes south.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Lighter lake effect flurries/snow showers expected Monday as
conditions turn much colder for the early week period.

Winter Weather Advisory for lake effect snow has been issued for
this afternoon and evening. Snowfall totals of 2 to 6 inches with
locally higher amounts possible within the enhanced snowfall bands
downwind of Saginaw Bay and/or Lake Huron. Be prepared for slippery
roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.

Lighter lake effect flurries/snow showers expected Monday as
conditions turn much colder for the early week period.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Locally heavy lake effect snow will be possible this morning along
the lakeshore north of Muskegon, making travel hazardous in
reduced visibilities and potentially slippery conditions.
Quick accumulations of snow will be possible tonight across far
southwest Lower Michigan and also around US-127 mainly between
Saint Johns and Mount Pleasant. Slippery travel will be possible
as temperatures fall into the 20s and perhaps upper teens.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Additional accumulations of lake effect snow Monday and Monday
night combined with colder temperatures could make travel
conditions hazardous.
