This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible until dusk mainly southeast
of the IL river. Cloud to ground lightning will be a risk from this
activity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Hot and humid conditions will push heat index values 98 to 105
degrees Wednesday afternoon.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Wednesday afternoon through
Thursday afternoon, and again Saturday through Sunday. There is a
level 2 of 5 (slight) risk for severe weather from mid Wednesday
afternoon into mid Wednesday evening north of a Rushville to
Bloomington line, and a level 1 of 5 (marginal) risk further south.
The main risk will be from damaging straight line winds, though
isolated tornadoes are possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning
strikes and heavy rain are also expected.

central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will occur through this evening.
Cloud to ground lightning, locally heavy rain and gusty winds will
be the main risks from this activity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Hot and humid conditions will push heat index values of 97 to 102
degrees Wednesday afternoon.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Wednesday afternoon through
Friday afternoon, and again Saturday through Sunday. There is a
level 1 of 5 (marginal) risk for severe weather from mid Wednesday
afternoon into mid Wednesday evening north of I-70. The main risk
will be from damaging straight line winds, though frequent cloud to
ground lightning strikes and heavy rain are also expected.

central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Widely scattered thunderstorms will continue into this evening. The
strongest storms may produce gusty winds and locally heavy downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night.
Some storms may be strong to severe, mainly along and north of I-70.
50-60 mph wind gusts are the primary threat from these storms.

Thunderstorms are possible for the rest of the Tuesday through next
Monday period as well, mainly during the afternoon.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected after midnight tonight in
western Iowa and will then spread eastward. Isolated strong to
severe storms are possible, with gusty winds and heavy rainfall the
main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Redevelopment of thunderstorms is possible Wednesday afternoon or
evening. Isolated severe storms with heavy rain are possible,
however any storm development will be conditional on the morning
activity.

Additional thunderstorms are expected at times this weekend. Strong
storms and heavy rain will again be possible.

Spotter activation may be needed after midnight tonight into

  south of Highway 36.
    - Extent of high heat dependent on how storms evolve earlier in
      the day.

portions of both southeast Minnesota and west central Wisconsin. A
stronger storm cannot be ruled out.

Thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday and few of these could
be strong to severe. Heavy rainfall could lead to localized
flooding on Wednesday.
