This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Thunderstorms are possible tonight, mainly after midnight. A few
strong to severe storms may occur with large hail or damaging winds,
mainly north of Interstate 80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A few strong storms are possible Thursday, mainly north of Highway
20. Strong non-thunderstorm winds may occur at times Thursday,
Thursday night and Friday with gusts over 45 mph possible.

Additional chances for thunderstorms arrive Sunday night and into
early next week.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Showers and storms are possible late this afternoon and tonight.
Brief heavy downpours, small hail, and lightning are the main
threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

There is the potential for thunderstorms Thursday afternoon
into the early evening but confidence is low that they will
occur. A few of these storms could be severe east of of a
Independence to the Quad Cities to Macomb Illinois line.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few severe thunderstorms appear possible after 9 PM, mainly
north of U.S. 20 in northeast Nebraska. Damaging winds will be
the main hazard, with isolated occurrences of large hail, and
perhaps a brief tornado or two also possible. Locally heavy rain
may also occur.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Strong westerly winds gusting 40 to 45 mph are likely Thursday,
which could lead to some fire weather concerns in portions of
northeast Nebraska.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible from late Saturday night
through Tuesday. Multiple episodes of severe weather appear
possible from Sunday night through Tuesday. Localized flooding may
also become a concern.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms in portions of Illinois
this afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a chance of thunderstorms over parts of the area Thursday
through Friday night and then again Sunday through Tuesday.

There is a threat of strong to severe thunderstorms Thursday evening
across southeastern Missouri and southwestern Illinois and then
Friday potentially across a larger portion of the area. All severe
hazards are possible.
