PST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...For the Air Stagnation Advisory, poor air quality will
  continue through the morning due to trapped pollutants. For the
  Cold Weather Advisory, very cold temperatures combined with gusty
  winds will lead to wind chill values as low as 10 to 15 degrees.
  For the Wind Advisory, northeast winds 10 to 25 mph with gusts up
  to 45 mph expected, except southeast winds from Ashland to Phoenix.

* WHERE...Eastern Curry County and Josephine County and Jackson
  County. This includes Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, Cave
  Junction, and Applegate.

* WHEN...For the Air Stagnation Advisory, until noon PST today. For
  the Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM PST
  Sunday. For the Wind Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 10 PM
  PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Poor air quality may cause issues for people with
  respiratory problems. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if
  unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Gusty winds
  will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down
  and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will first become gusty at exposed
  locations in the higher terrain tonight, then will be strongest
  across the area during Saturday afternoon and evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Persons with respiratory illness should follow their physicians
advice for dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods
of stagnant air.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

  temperatures as low as 29 to 31 degrees expected.

* WHERE...South Central Oregon Coast. For the Cold Weather Advisory,
  this includes the communities of Myrtle Point, Powers, Reedsport,
  Bandon and Coos Bay. For the Freeze Warnings, the communities
  along the immediate coast including Coos Bay, Bandon and Port
  Orford.

* WHEN...For the Air Stagnation Advisory, until noon PST today. For
  the Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM PST
  Sunday. For the first Freeze Warning, from 2 AM to 9 AM PST
  Saturday. For the second Freeze Warning, from 2 AM to 9 AM PST
  Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Poor air quality may cause issues for people with
  respiratory problems. Frostbite and hypothermia could occur if
  unprotected skin is exposed to these cold temperatures. Freeze
  conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and
  possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
