...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 5 PM PDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt and steep to
  very steep and hazardous seas of 8 to 11 ft.

* WHERE...All areas with warning level seas expected beyond 5 nm
  from shore and south of Coos Bay.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 5 PM this
  afternoon to 5 PM PDT Wednesday. For the Small Craft Advisory,
  until 5 PM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
  treacherous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port

  occasionally reach gale force this afternoon.

* WHERE...All areas. Occasional gale force winds are possible
  south of Gold Beach.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 5 PM PDT this
  afternoon. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 5 PM this
  afternoon to 5 PM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 9 PM PDT this
  evening. For the Gale Warning, from 9 PM this evening to 9 PM
  PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
