* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Edwards County in south central Texas...

* Until 300 PM CST.

* At 1147 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Carta Valley.

  1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
  1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

           producing flash flooding.

  Brownwood, Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty, Lake Brownwood State Park,
  Grosvenor, Zephyr, Thrifty, Owens and Indian Creek.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Gifford at Beaver, Austin Street at Avenue G, Good Shephard at 11th,
Magnolia at Belmeade, Belle Plain at Romines, Indian Creek at 9th,
4th Street at Wood, Cordell at Anderson, Willis at Belmeade and
Austin Street at Avenue J.

White Street at Live Oak Creek, South Blackburn between Adkins and
13th, County Road 120 crossing East Cow Creek, 17th Street between
Pine and College, FM 0503 crossing Waloope Creek, South High between
14th and 15th Streets, Hallum Draw, crossings along County Road 142,
crossings along County Road 138 and crossings along County Road 3071.

At 1135 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3
and 5 inches of rain have fallen this morning, including 4 inches
reported in Menard. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Menard, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Highway 29, The Intersection
  Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1773 and Us-83 Near The Kimble-Menard
  County Line.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Decker St. crossing San Saba River, Ranch Road 2291 crossing Las
Moras Creek and Mahan crossing Taylor Branch.
