This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and
Central Georgia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...
A line of thunderstorms will move out ahead of an approaching cold
front late tonight and approach far northwest portions of Georgia
before sunrise Saturday. A few of the thunderstorms could be
strong to severe. There is also some potential for isolated brief
tornadoes, but the primary severe weather hazard will be damaging
wind gusts.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...
A cold front will move through much of north and central Georgia
on Saturday. The potential for strong to severe thunderstorms will
continue, mainly south of the Interstate 20 corridor. The primary
severe weather hazard will be damaging wind gusts.
Patchy to areas of frost are possible late Saturday night across
portions of northeast Georgia.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.
.DAY ONE...Outlook through Tonight.
Severe storms are likely tonight into early tomorrow morning, with
the highest potential across northwest Central Alabama. Threats
include tornadoes, damaging winds, and quarter size hail.
Breezy conditions are expected tonight with wind gusts of 30 to 40
mph possible outside of thunderstorms across the northern half of
Central Alabama.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Isolated severe storms may continue into Saturday morning across
southeast portions of Central Alabama. Damaging winds and an isolated
tornado are possible.
Breezy conditions will continue through midday Saturday with wind
gusts of 30 to 40 mph possible across the northern half of Central
Alabama.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Activation of storm spotters and emergency management will be needed
tonight into Saturday morning.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A strong system will affect the Tennessee Valley and southern
Appalachians tonight into Saturday. Strong to severe storms are
possible tonight with damaging winds as the main concern,
especially along the Cumberland Plateau and southern Tennessee
Valley. A brief tornado is possible mainly along and near the
Cumberland Plateau and southern Tennessee Valley. Locally heavy
rainfall will also be possible which may lead to localized
flooding.
Besides the storms, windy conditions are likely tonight, mainly
along and west of Interstate 75 and especially in the Tennessee
mountains and foothills. See the wind advisory and high wind

Windy conditions are expected area-wide on Saturday with the
highest gusts being in the higher elevations of the Tennessee
