...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Lumpkin, White and
central Dawson Counties through 1115 PM EDT...

At 1043 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Lake Burton to near Cleveland to McKee, and
moving north at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially
         in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Dahlonega, Cleveland, Dawsonville, Helen, Unicoi State Park,
Robertstown, Camp Coleman Lake, Auraria, Anna Ruby Falls, Garland,
Smithgall Woods Conservation Are, Porter Springs, Sautee, Qualatchee
Lake, and McKee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of
control due to hydroplaning.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ANDERSON AND
SOUTHWESTERN PICKENS COUNTIES THROUGH 1115 PM EDT...

At 1047 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Clemson, or over Pendleton, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clemson, Central, Pendleton, Lake Hartwell, and Sandy Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
