SUNDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR WIND AND LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR PARTS OF NORTHWEST MINNESOTA...

* AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, Kittson, Roseau, Lake Of The
  Woods, East Marshall and North Beltrami.

* WINDS...South 10 to 20 mph Saturday and South 15 to 30 mph and
  gusts up to 40 mph on Sunday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent on Saturday and 18
  percent on Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
  difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Focus for worst fire weather conditions is
  on Sunday as this is the day with the lowest RH, strongest winds
  and highest temperatures.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, West Polk, Norman, Clay, West
  Marshall, Pennington, Red Lake, East Polk, North Clearwater,
  South Beltrami, Mahnomen, South Clearwater, Hubbard, West
  Becker, East Becker, Wilkin, West Otter Tail, East Otter Tail,
  Wadena and Grant. In North Dakota, Towner, Cavalier, Pembina,
  Benson, Ramsey, Eastern Walsh, Eddy, Nelson, Grand Forks,
  Griggs, Steele, Traill, Barnes, Cass, Ransom, Sargent,
  Richland and Western Walsh.

* WINDS...South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 18 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
  difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southerly winds will continue to increase
  over the weekend, with extremely warm temperatures arriving by
  Sunday. The hot temperatures, low relative humidity values,
  and strong southerly winds could bring critical fire weather
  conditions Sunday afternoon.

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHEASTERN
MINNESOTA SUNDAY...

.Breezy southwesterly winds gusting to 25 to 30 mph Sunday along
with relative humidity values as low as 20 percent may lead to
critical fire weather conditions across northeastern Minnesota
late Sunday morning into Sunday evening. RH values will improve
late Sunday evening as the air near the ground begins to cool
around and after sunset.

Additional breezy southwesterly to southerly winds and low
relative humidity values on Monday and Tuesday may lead to
additional critical fire weather conditions.

  and South St. Louis and Pine.

* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.

* IMPACTS...This combination of wind and minimum RH could lead
  to the rapid spread of fires.

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS SUNDAY...

.Record high temperatures in the lower 90s and very low humidity
values of 15 to 25 percent, combined with southerly winds of 15 to
25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, will lead to a critical fire
weather risk on Sunday. Fires could quickly spread out of control
due to these conditions. Continued hot, dry, and windy conditions
Monday and Tuesday could result in repeated days of critical fire
weather conditions.
