This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota, north
central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms expected through tonight. No severe weather
is anticipated, however, lightning will be the main threat with the
possibility of small hail (pea sized) and wind gusts up to 50 mph
with any stronger storm. From eastern McPherson and eastward into
west central MN, there is also the threat for heavy rain of 1 to 3
inches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms expected through the weekend. However, no severe
weather is anticipated at this time. Main threat will be lightning.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A few severe storms will be possible this afternoon across
southern MN as a warm front moves into the state from Iowa.
Isolated instances of large hail and damaging wind gusts will be
possible.

Tonight, heavy rain is expected to develop to the north of the
warm front, with 1 to 3 inches of rain possible across central
Minnesota that could come as far south as Granite Falls and the
Twin Cities.

An Air Quality Alert due to the presence of Canadian wildfire
smoke remains in place across central and southern Minnesota
today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The heavy rain threat from tonight will continue into Friday
morning.

A very active period of weather is expected from
Saturday night through Wednesday, with multiple rounds of
thunderstorms expected. This will result in additional chances for
strong to severe storms and heavy rainfall.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

An Air Quality Alert is in effect for portions of northeast
Minnesota and all of northwest Wisconsin tonight through Thursday
due to wildfire smoke.

Non-severe thunderstorms with areas of moderate to heavy rain are
likely into Friday. The heaviest rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is
expected south of Highway 2, where ponding of water on roadways is
possible and there is a 5 to 25 percent chance for flash flooding.

Increasing northeast winds and building waves will result in
hazardous swimming conditions along the beaches of Minnesota and
Wisconsin Point.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Some heavy rain may continue into Friday morning.

Strong northeast winds and high waves may result in hazardous
swimming conditions along the beaches of Minnesota and Wisconsin
Points Friday.

Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
Rainfall amounts from spotters and the public are encouraged.
