...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH
TUESDAY EVENING FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR A PORTION OF
SOUTHERN NEVADA...

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Fire
Weather Watch, which is in effect from Tuesday morning through
Tuesday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Nevada...Fire weather zone 461.

* TIMING...from 11 am PDT until 10 pm PDT Tuesday.

* WIND...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...7 to 14 percent.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.

THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
FIRE WEATHER ZONES 495, 496, 497, AND 498...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 495 Color Country West
  Desert, Fire Weather Zone 496 Color Country Mountains, Fire
  Weather Zone 497 Mojave Desert and Fire Weather Zone 498 Grand
  Staircase.

* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts 30 to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent, mainly below 8000
  feet, with higher RH values 15-20 percent above 8000 feet.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are possible. Any
  new fire starts or existing fires may spread rapidly.
